Museum software should be available to all

Technology is at the core of every modern museum. But that interactivity can come at a steep price. Commercial museum software is expensive, putting it out of reach for smaller organizations and a strain on the budgets of larger ones. Plus, to make any changes requires another contract and more money.

I created Exhibitera to put the power of modern technology in the hands of every museum. It’s free and open-source, meaning museums never have to pay. It’s also easy enough that it can be used by institutions too small for an IT department and powerful enough to put in the hands of curators, exhibition designers, and educators.
